It is hard to imagine any legitimate reason to do so. I hope there are three less terrorists on the street because of this officer’s good work.

Comment on Antioch Council agrees to spend $150,000 on list of items to help homeless by Jp /2019/11/antioch-council-agrees-to-spend-150000-on-list-of-items-to-help-homeless/#comment-1350619 Wed, 13 Nov 2019 22:21:13 +0000 /?p=37038#comment-1350619 Can we get half off at the Dispensary too. That would be great. If you really wanna solve the homeless problem you have to solve the drug problem we have an opioid epidemic in this country. That’s where you have to start on the homeless problem.

Wait till you see how the Voting turns out next year because Joe consolidated so many precincts not anticipating the huge turnout expected. Joe stated last week he was “looking forward to what’s next”…..scandal, accusations , fines.

They have been doing a good job investigating similar cases.

MTC/ABAG wants a 1-cent sales tax increase for the 9 Bay Area Counties.
Now the County wants a 1/2-cent sales tax !!
Antioch votes approved Measure W 1/2-cent additional sales tax.
SB1 increase taxes on gasoline, diesel and vehicle registration fees.
Bridge tolls increase by another dollar to $6.

When is enough, enough?

Comment on Antioch Council votes to support 2020 county transportation half-cent sales tax ballot measure, expenditure plan by Arne Simonsen /2019/10/antioch-council-votes-to-support-2020-county-transportation-half-cent-sales-tax-expenditure-plan/#comment-1345363 Thu, 24 Oct 2019 19:10:12 +0000 /?p=36848#comment-1345363 The presentation left out the fact that under SB1 (increase in gasoline/diesel/car registration) doubled the amount of gas tax the city receives, RM3 bridge toll increases and the additional money from SB1 for state highways, they still want more.
MTC/ABAG will want a 1-cent increase possibly next November for the 9 Bay Area Counties. Soon we will be paying close to an 11% Sales Tax at this rate.
